What to expect

We offer a free fitness consultation to establish what your goals are and what experience you have in the gym. This really is for all levels and we will go at your pace, your intensity and your ability no matter what level you are – this is the personal part of small group personal training. We will also establish if you are training for performance or lifestyle (more below)

  • Those returning to fitness or less confident in the gym our sessions are designed to accommodate your level, confidence and mobility through the exercises so you don’t need to worry about the others in the group.

  • This is an opportunity to receive more technical, personal coaching than you would get in a large group class focusing on form, technique and progression towards results

 

Our signature group fitness sessions CONSIST OF

LIFT

The first part of the workout will be dedicated to strength work targeting upper, lower and total body. Using the machines and free weights our program is designed to help build more strength and power. (20 MINS)

CORE

The mid part of the of the session will concentrate on bodyweight core exercises to help tighten and tone. (5 MINS)

FUNCTIONAL

The final section will introduce a combination of functional movements with free weights or body weight and cardio machines. This is intended to get the heart rate up and build your capacity to work at a higher intensity – your intensity. Brilliant for stripping fat and toning up (20 MINS)

 

the extra stuff

  • We also offer nutrition guidance with meal plans if you want to make sure you are eating the right things. This is a huge part of stripping fat or losing weight and is essential for the right levels of energy and recovery.

    We have designed a simple “strategy” to understand your relationship with food and help you change any bad habits you may have picked up which will super charge your results.

  • In the consultation we will determine if you are training for performance or lifestyle.

    Performance – if you fall into this category you will receive coaching on optimal performance in the gym, focusing on improving the fundamentals and learning new skills. This will include guidance on the importance of rest, recovery and a more technical program of training. This will allow you to bring more focus to each session translating to better more proficiency, ability and results.

    Lifestyle – this would include those who are training for general health, confidence and stress relief. The body loves to move, and when it moves well and gets the attention it deserves, head feels better. You will benefit from all positive attributes a well-designed fitness program will bring.
